This year's Mardi Gras celebration was a blast! Parades, balls, parties, king cakes, and tons of beads; it really wore me out! I've finally recovered and have a chance to share. I decided to give up television for Lent since my TV is always on and a huge distraction for me. That gives me more time for reading, audiobooks, studying for board exams and of course knitting! More updates to come!

Good luck with that sacrifice - I know with the writer's strike coming to an end, that would last about a day for me.
